Teleclub Macher
About This Spot
Stepping into Teleclub Macher feels like discovering a quietly confident local gem tucked away from the usual tourist hustle. It’s the sort of Mediterranean restaurant where time slows just enough to enjoy unwinding, where the rhythms of the island seem to drift in through open windows, mingling with the easy hum of conversation and the gentle clatter of dishes.
The atmosphere here is unpretentious and warmly familiar—more akin to a neighborhood gathering spot than a formal dining destination. Its pace invites calm: service moves thoughtfully, reflecting a genuine care rather than haste. People come not just for a meal, but to connect with the flavors deeply rooted in Lanzarote’s culinary traditions.
Experience here is richly tied to the soulful preparation of local recipes. Whether it’s tender rabbit cooked to perfection or succulent pulpo grilled with subtle char, each bite feels like a quiet celebration of the island’s resources and heritage. Simple pleasures, like a plate of garbanzos or crispy croquetas, are treated with the kind of respect that transforms familiar ingredients into something memorable. Paired with an ice-cold cerveza or a smooth cortado, the food nourishes both body and spirit in equal measure.
Its local character is further underscored by easy accessibility and a welcoming space that feels mostly untouched by the frenzy that often swirls around more touristy spots. The steady flow of locals reveals that Teleclub Macher is not just a restaurant, but a place held dear by those who know where to find hearty, honest food at a relaxed pace.
Here, meals unfold with a quiet joy—comforting without fuss, intimate without pretension. It’s a place to taste Lanzarote’s heart through its humble, thoughtfully crafted dishes and the unspoken stories they carry.

Found this restaraunt after a long drive around the island. Other restaraunts were full and parking was tough yo fibd. But not here. Found parking with ease. The food was simply amazing. Had rabbit, squid and homemade croquettes and literal ice cold beer to wash it all down. I'd easily go again, simply for how they cook the rabbit.

This is a solid 4 out 5 bistro type food. A place enjoyed by locals. The service is slow. Food is ok.

Ocean views, friendly, happy staff, ice cold beer, delicious food, with a choice of 2 sizes - medium or portion, all at very reasonable prices! Great place to stop after trekking around the mountains! Or anytime that suits! Highly recommend!
